Looks like "they" upgraded their equipment. I have a BCT15X analog scanner. I know they went digital, I just don't know if it is encrypted also. I would like to know this before I waste my time upgrading to a digital scanner and finding out it's encrypted as well. Sound samples are attached...

I am looking to start up a radio station and could use all the help I can get. Starting with finding a FM radio transmitter or perhaps a company who handlies them.

I have a TK3180 firmware 1.17 and kpg-89D v1.61 and a kpg-36 cable. When I program freq in the radio the radio will only transmit and recieve in talk around mode with other radios that are in range and also in talk around. If I switch the recieve and transmit freq then the radio does NOT work...

Running RadioFeed with Serial Port Monitor on a BCD996XT. I can see the data going through the serial port, but the sound card is still connected. Is it normal for the feed to go through the sound card from the serial port? Or did I miss a setting somewhere? Mike
