I know the system, asking site.

Pic shows a cc of 773.81875 and 7 different sites use that cc.

Voice calls on 773.06875 and 6 sites list that and have cc of 773.81875 within.

Pic also shows data call on 771.23125 which only shows here on this site and does not have 773.06875 or 773.81875 listed.

Neshoba - Philly South is the county I am trying to monitor.

Ok,

2 (2)045 (2D)Philadelphia SouthNeshoba771.65625773.06875c773.31875c773.56875c773.81875c

So its possible 773.06875 and 771.23125 are voice/data channels on the site but no body ever submitted them. 771.23125 is listed on one of the 2 licenses associated with that site.

From what's listed in the database, the site is 2.1625 MHz which that dongle should do. But when you add in 771.23125 (not listed) that becomes 2.5875mhz which one dongle wont do.

But, your pic shows cc of 773.81875, and there are voice calls on 773.06875, you should be getting that audio.

Just curious, how do you have this system set up? C4FM or LSM? The modulation listed for your site is C4FM

And what is your sample rate set at?

Just curious and pardon me if this is a dumb question but I'm not familiar with data channels. Could it also be possible that the data channel (771.23125) contains required information about individual voice channels and without the information, those voice channels would remain silent even if the control channel does the usual thing and switches to occupied voice channels? That's what I was thinking but I don't know enough.

Data can be tx'ed over voice channels. I do not believe there is anything specific to that freq and I do not believe SDRT does and switching like DSDPlus would do.

Voice grants that close to the active cc should be producing audio.

@Scorppro if there a different system near you that you can import I would try that and see if you get voice. That could say if its an SDRT/PC issue or a programming issue..

Here is an update for my problems:
Installed MXLinux on laptop, installed SDRT, using NooElec R820 and RTL-SDR V3 dongles. NooElec seems to catch and hold Control frequency 100% with best reception. Imported RR MSWIN and only selected my county for listening. Events show loads of entities populating and found "Max channels exceeded" error. Changed max channels to "50". SDRT shows everything is working 100%. Still no sound from laptop speakers.
I have compiled OP25. Have not tested it yet. Hopefully I will be able to devote much more time on testing this weekend.
*side note*
I also installed SDR++ and it produces sound through laptop speakers on fm radio stations.
Thank you all for your replies and thoughts. Highly appreciated.

Finally... It is working! Snuck my laptop into work today and tested. I feel it was a Win10 driver causing my issues of no sound. It would show 5 or 6 different output sound options. Realtek was the culprit I believe. MXLinux only shows 2 options of output selections. Set it to "Speakers" in linux properties and SDRT. Started hearing all local traffic I had setup in Alias tab.
Now... Is there a way to cut out all the frequencies I am not interested in? There is only 30 - 35 channels I care to listen to. My control frequency has thousands of agencies that are using up my dongles bandwidth. I have them all muted but they still pop-up under events.

You mean talkgroups. If you only imported just your county, and your hearing more, you can add a tg range and set it up as 0 to 65535. Slide listen to off and save it.. This will mute every talkgroup other than the talkgroups you have entered an alias for. (Believe I read this method is no longer required as by default SDRT should not be listening to tg's not programmed in).

All system activity will still show in the window regardless of what's imported and or set to listen.

I prefer to hear when new tg's are present so I named mine "unknown" and turned Record on. When selecting tg's to play in trunking Recorder, I can select unknown and see any new tg's that were active.
