1 System Multiple TG's

Hi,

This may have been brought up somewhere, but I don't know where to start. My question is can I have one entire system that is a scan list, and if I don't want to hear an agency that is on that list, I can just punch a number corresponding to which agency that number corresponds with, and I "de-activate" that agency?

I know with my BC 796D I can program in what whole system, but within that one system, I have several lists, one for each agency that I want to listen to. If I don't want to listen to an agency, I just hit the number for which ever scan list they're in.

You cannot assign systems to scan lists. In your case you would have to create the specific talkgroups and then assign them to a scanlist you designate for each agency.
