What kind of receivers are you guys using to intercept these stations? I've been trying to here something but I'm thinking my radio is too small. I have a Grundig G6 Aviator with just the whip antenna...are my chances slim to none to catch utility signals in SW Ontario?

You should be able to get it with a whip, at least with some readability. I get it +20 here with a dipole. It is in USB also, not AM!

Thanks! I'll check back often to see current frequencies so maybe I'll get a chance to finally hear something. The Grundig has a SSB setting that does USB and LSB simultaneously...I hope this will still work well.

No no no, you want USB ONLY. That must be a DSB (Double Side Band, pretty much AM without the carrier) so you will be picking up an extra 3 KHz you don't need.
