Echo Whiskey with Yankee and multiple others. with data and some scrambled comms
strong to moderate sig here in the Tampa area.

Never seen the Navy on this freq. It's listed as a ship comm channel .

Not flight comms. This sounds like an AAW network. Even when no other traffic (and there has been other traffic) they give a SITREP for all active tracks at the top of each hour.

Signal strength suggest east coast.

I agree it's East Coast, In the past Carrier Groups have conducted these exercises off the Coast of Jacksonville. Judging from the strength to my QTH, sounds about right.
