123.45 I get Lift Trainees taking to each other, transient groups going to Oshkosh, Dayton and of course airline pilots hoping to get scheduled so they can get dinner together some time. The other day I heard a couple RV's and one was indicating he really liked the plane he was in due to the perfomance and avionics so maybe a ferry.

I used to hear traffic regularly on 123.450 MHz here at the NY/NJ Metropolitan area. It was interesting, like an informal chat channel. Need to start monitoring it again.

The other air "CB" is interesting too. Mainly commercial flights, or private jets chatting at high altitude but it can be fun to hear. Also the fed air to air common is fun if you're near government ops, like national forests etc.

I've had my Pro-2052 on 123.45 for couple of days here in the NY/NJ Metropolitan area but really haven't heard much it seems, which is unusual. Since I have the 780XLT scanning EWR and other ATC in the area, it's possible I just missed transmissions or was away from the radios.
