158.8125, heard in Lakes Region NH

158.8125, Analog (gads!) maybe a PD, but way too relaxed.

Any ideas??

The only analog channel that has that same freq is Windham Me. pd..158.8125--77.0...

It might be them because sometimes I can hear Windham Fire.

Dont forget the obvious---.. 10-4 is Maine, 10-5 N.H

It is more likely that you were hearing units from the Town of Lincoln just to the north. They have a transmitter on that frequency located atop Loon Mountain which would easily penetrate into most of the Lakes region.

It looks like Lincoln's license for 158.8125 is a future input to a repeater on their 155.190 PD dispatch, which (last I knew) was simplex.
