159.430 pl 192.8

Hello been hearing Medical helicopter on 159.430 pl 192.8 who is this ?Iam in Tennesse using a discone and GRE PSR-500 .I can hear the hospital and the helicopter but its weak and has noise on the signal.Found in old 2002 Police call 159.430 listed to De Kalb county tn.Anyone know who it is???Angelo

A quick search the OP is in Middle Tn in the Middle of the state and the RR Database does not have 159.430 listed in the State of Tn found no listings on FCC Database either. 159.435 is listed for several Tn Forestry Sites.

Sounds like someone possible EMS is running on an old, expired License and are 30 miles or so away from you.

Neither are valid frequencies.
Check for licenses on the closest valid frequencies

Stay on frequency for a while regardless of how you entered it, does it eventually ID a callsign? Not seeing anything close to you on any valid frequency with that tone ID'ed in the RRDB. How does the helicopter ID themselves on radio? Listen in for a bit and take note of any landmarks or specific hospital names you may hear then report back...

Or is it 155.340 which is EMS unit to hospital frequency?

It is 159.430 pl 192.8 My gre PSR 500 only does 10khz steps.
