Doubt it is BOP as they have changed to 400 MHz frequencies as far as I have seen. They used to use the 170 MHz freqs but have changed. Also, while some BOP facilities have changed to P25, the majority are still on the Motorola Type II systems.
Be interested to see what this might be.

They also use/travel with $1B3 on 168.3500 aka Travel Channel 1 and
173.5250 $1C3 aka Travel 2 and 173.8750 $1D3 Travel 3 aka Black
$1A3 is BoP only on a couple of their UHF Trunks

I did read what was attached by the way, what I am getting at I guess?? ( if it matters to anyone but me?)

Remember, certain members of Congress are assigned protection when they travel or are at home by the US Capital Police. Not saying that is what you heard, just saying it could be why you heard it.
