Wondering if any (again) our neighbors to the north can hear or have already Identified the user on 172.7500 +/- (knowing Canada
uses a slightly different channel spacing) that is P25 with the NAC of $700

This is being heard from Washington County, just across the border in Maine.

Thanks in advance, as I've searched TAFL and browsed each Province/County page on RR without luck

It might be this. They may have changed from analogue to digital P25

Saw that in TAFL as well, but it said Analog and if I recall was buoy data

This is P25 and also, forgot to mention ENC
Need to log the RID's, so as to rule out the US OBP, but a 700 NAC would be new for any US OBP use in Maine, they already have $100-$600
for each of the Stations

I'm also seeing signal P25p1 with NACs of 400 and 4F9 in that neighbourhood 172.600 -> 173.400
400's would be the US Border Patrol (feel free to PM or post here those freqs you confirm with each NAC)
4F9 would be the National Park Service (Bar Harbor)
and the ones you find ending with an E are likely the Maine State VHF TRS

This list is pretty accurate

The Freq for NAC 400 is 173.050 (Haulton)
The Freq for NAC 4F9 is 172.612 (Acadia National Park)
There is also NAC 500 at 173.3875 (Encrypted)
There is also something at 173.4125 but too weak for me to get DSD-FME to lock on to.

Thanks - 173.3875 is a new one, but based on the NAC, it is likely Houlton Sector for the Calais Net, depending on the RID's as an additional validation

173.4125 would be $0FE for the States (MSCommNet) Bar Harbor site

Thanks I'll mark that in my Frequency manager just so I know. I can pick up MSCommNet at a different freq and Bangor RCC always has a very strong signal here.

Any chance of logging the RID's?
It might help nail down if US Federal or something else (feel free to PM if not comfortable sharing the RID's in public email)
