Looking at the map it shows trans-atlantic multihop Es ... most of the US and Europe is open except here of course. Hopefully it will be a good DX the rest of today

message quoting isnt working soooooo....
42.460 - PD, "no cab available for the Joliet ride" (Illinois has a Joliet, but state isn't on 42.46 in that area)
42.520 - PD, "55 southbound at the 156", "Illinois 40 at I-88"
(This is likely Illinois SP District 1 - Sterling)
42.620 - PD, "stolen from Jerseyville" (Most likely lSP District 20 - Pittsfield)

Many of the Illinois State Police ops on 42 MHz will be gone in a few months for good.

.

It sounded like they were far from Joliet and the guy could not afford cab fare to get there. Don't know how they resolved it.

Thanks.

Forgive me for not paying attention, but is there any specific timeframe for removing the ISP lowband, or will it be phased out by area based on their success in moving to Starcom. For example, I know the Bloomington and East St. Louis metro areas are both relying heavily on Starcom, but others don't seem to be using it much.
