30.450 150Hz Range Operations clearing Law Enforcement to leave an area. (Probably Fort Hood Texas)
43.280 77Hz Unk IB Mobiles
43.440 77Hz "368 are you in the yard?"... "Use the construction entrance off P(?) street" (Or maybe Peace Street). Possibly Ingram Readymix, San Antonio, TX
59.750 CSQ Spanish male with music in background, sounded like a broadcast. (Maybe Spanish T.V. Station audio)? Strong then faded out.

Monitored from Central KY. using BCT15X, Ringo Ranger AR6, and Freescan.

Also a recent trip to Pennsylvania put me within a couple miles of Fort Indiantown Gap NG Base and I got to do some .mil monitoring and spotting of helicopters up CLOSE and personal!

Managed to catch him on 36.075 MHz VHF Low also so anyone out there who copied 08716 on 36.075 On Wednesday 5-20-2020 this will be an instant ID for you!

Do you folk hear anything in the lowband VHF range from Hawaii?

I want to punch in some frequencies both for interest as well as early warning for 6 meters. It's not the right time of the sunspot cycle for the best results but occasionally there are openings from here to HI on 10m & CB.

About 5 years back I put a post in the Hawaii subforum asking if anyone could tell me any frequencies for lowband VHF services using reasonable transmit power that have known regular traffic on them, and I recall I was told to look at the FCC database ...

After filtering out McDonalds drive through's and low power hospital pagers, I was left with the Red Cross, Ameron, the gas company and the State of Hawaii and still was none the wiser which if any were active with regular traffic.

Showing that freq in the database with and without a PL for Worcester County. Is there a PL being used? Going to program it into my test bank.

Sorry, I have no idea as I dont do PLs.
I’m sure you’d find it a great enhancement to your listening hobby if you got a receiver that will automatically scan and show PL and other squelch codes.
It would allow you to ID the station without having to wait for Morse or voice ID.
Uniden BCT15X will do it for $150. Cheap!

I get what your saying, and someday I may, but for now I'm okay with it. Most of what I listen for I can identify by their voices, tones and the background noise. I have been looking into it to block more of the tactical frequencies if that's an option. It does get old listening to someone talking with the sound of a whaling siren. I'm really more interested in 54-88 so the scanner becomes secondary when that happens.

33 MHz fire channels hopping this afternoon.

Some type of cross-patched dispatch on 33.60 and 33.58. I'm hearing mobiles and portables and the click-click of voting receivers and some squelch tail
33.72 and 33.86 tripping the squelch with base and mobile activity
Sporadic activity on 33.78, 33.90, and 33.98
A dead carrier fading in and out on Special Emergency/Highway Maintenance frequency 33.02 MHz

Hopefully I'll catch enough info soon to ID some of these

Southeast Ohio EM-89

Yesterday it started around 9am here and went on till 8pm with a few short lulls in between. I was too busy with the tv and doing chores.
