I can't speak for MRN but at PRN the feed our Pit Reporters listen to and our feed that public normally listens to are two different feeds.
The Pit Reporter feed is generated by BSI/NEP. They also provide us (and MRN) the wireless mics that the Pit Reporters use.
The public 454.0000 feed is generated by us using a transmitter provided by Racing Electronics.
