No kidding... I think I might be very, very wrong (again) about all that.. That would make more sense than Lancaster having two transmitters. But what I don't understand is why they would be licensed so close to each other. Odd... I will pay much closer attention to that frequency and report back. It MIGHT be a shared resource...

Edit: You're right. 136.5 IS Radnor (and my original records were correct). I'm not sure why I got all mixed up on this one. Still interesting that Lancaster also uses it in such close proximity.

Yeah Zetron was a massive console manufacturer that was probably the largest competitor to Motorola in the fire service. They are still around, having gone through a few different owners, but with technology changes, not sure where their position in the market is.

My records are all skewed for some reason, and I recently found out that my FCC database search methods were not correct, and that there was a lot of information I wasn't seeing. I do this for a living, but all the frequency research/licensing stuff is always handled via frequency coordinators, so I never do this kinda research professionally.

Not sure on this one. The only thing carrier squelch I've ever found on 33.940 was Berks County, PA. This transmission was DTMF only and consisted of "142802" repeated a couple of times. No PL detected. Anyone have any insight on this? Siren control perhaps? Maybe it was one of the FD's paging without PL (that is a thing). Don't know.

Not sure on this one. The only thing carrier squelch I've ever found on 33.940 was Berks County, PA. This transmission was DTMF only and consisted of "142802" repeated a couple of times. No PL detected. Anyone have any insight on this? Siren control perhaps? Maybe it was one of the FD's paging without PL (that is a thing). Don't know.

Granby Fire is still all low-band. 33.9400 CSQ is their main operations, 33.7800 CSQ is their fireground. I don't know if Simsbury still uses it for tones. (PD is UHF, DPW is VHF Hi Band)

I'd post some logs here but Low Band has been deader than a door nail here at my QTH.
