I am finally getting a new radio after a year of being blacked out because most of Ontario Canada went digital, iam getting a 250d. Can anyone give me some pointers on this radio

I have the 250d, and like it (just too many trunked systems in my area).
Just remember, that it does not include the digital card, so unless you're planning on buying that separately, you won't be gaining anything.
If you're needing digital, and it's available (I don't know if it is in Canada), I would go for the 296d. It includes the digital card, and can handle the higher baud digital trunked systems.
