Yesterday I picked up a refueling exercises on 276.500 MHz AM, at 10:25 local time, 3:25 PM UTC time. Listening from Fort Erie Ont. Canada, does anyone have any information on this frequency. Thanks for any information.
Steve

Multiple posts list it as 276.500 AR-321 Prime. Always helpful to run the frequency through the forums search (upper right corner) for new/unknown frequencies.

Thanks for the information, I had it for some reason as AR-609 ??? in my list.

276.5 is AR-604 way out here in North Central Montana, it is active several times a week.
I monitor it when it is active, normally with KC-135’s out of Fairchild and B-52’s out of Minot.

I had it down as AR609 from an old AP1B.

On the recording you hear DC ANG KC-135 callsign DECEE 52 working with VT ANG F-35s in AR609. F-35 callsigns heard were BIG and THUMPER, tail numbers mentioned were 5277 and 5360. AR609 depicted here, this same area is aka Viper South or the Lightning 4 ATCAA.

I think you nailed it I did see this aircraft when I logged the audio, so I think it's AR-609

For those interested, if you ever want to monitor or confirm who is working in AR609 or Viper the entry/exit to this airspace is controlled by Boston Center on 123.875/323.000 or sometims the low frequencies 135.250/377.100 are used. These VHF frequencies are covered by the LiveATC ZBW Boston Center (UCA09/ART08) feed.

From the LiveATC archives here are all the ATC comms from that excercise in that sector. Players are KC-135 (57-1456) DECEE 52, with 8 VT ANG F-35s, SHINER 11 (x2), CHEDDER 21 (x2), BIG 31 (x2), THUMPER 41 (x2).

LiveATC Audio

CHEDDER is a new VT ANG callsign for me.
