My scanner (164) takes an adaptor of 9v, 400mA. I already have one that is 9v and 300mA. Can I get by with this or do I really need the extra tenth of an Amp? I don't want to damage the scanner but I don't want to be have to buy what I effectively already have.

Been using a 9v 300mA on my 164 for over a year and before that on a pro97. No worries, its fine.

Thank You for the quick response. I have two 9v 300mA adaptors. One is only what it is and the other varies from 105v - 12v. The 9v ONLY has the right tip. Thank You, again.
