I am located in south Texas. During a strong VHF low band opening today I heard comms on 35.040 related to combine operations. Later the foreman instructed the operators to go to Limon and park at the elevator due to being rained out of the job. There was a storm near Limon, CO at the time.
An FCC search for CO/KS shows: WQT347, Colson Bros, licensed statewide CO and KS.
My guess is this Colson Bros is a company that provides combine services and that is who I was hearing.
Anyone in the area confirm they are active on this freq?
