396XT to 996XT Compatibility

Both of my 996XT's stopped recieveing San Mateo County, California Public Safety P-25 and I have never had sucess getting BART to work on the 996XT's. The 396XT recives both without a problem.

Can I upload the data file from the 396XT to the 996XT? Should I send the configuration file as well?

There is obviously something set wrong on the 2 996XT's that I am hoping to clear by using the 396XT's file.

1) Use Freescan and read from the 396XT.
2) If needed change the start up message.
3) All other settings should transfer over with no issues.
4) Again using Freescan write to the 996XT.
5) Profit

Done it many times between my 396XT->996XT.

I have ARC-XT Pro & ProScan. Any positive experience using those to do the same?

Yep, the transfusion worked. I've got San Mateo Counties P25 system working on both 996XT's. Odd thing is that the I can hear BART traffic on the 396XT, but still nothing on the 996XT's and they are about 2 feet from each other. That's got me puzzled.
