Hi

Has anyone been monitoring this system?

I monitor it daily to keep the control channel current for the database.

(The freq's I listed in the first post of this thread are not relevant for this system in 2012.)

Hi folks,
I'm running PRO96COM on this system while I'm in town.

At this instant, I'm picking up the CC on 862.7375 and it is broadcasting the following alt CCs: 859.8125, 862.1625.
It is also identifying 859.8625 as a BSI channel, but I have yet to hear an ID even though PRO96COM reports them on every half-hour at 26 and 56 minutes past.
Overnight no talkgroups or radio affiliations detected, but that's not surprising to me at this point.

If what exkalibur mentioned earlier (the bridging tool) is the product known as SmartX, what I've been led to believe is that talkgroups on the P25 system that have been carried over from the SmartZone system will be the "Uniden value" divided by 16. Example, 3C08's talkgroup 22416 would be represented on the 3C2 system (if it was being simulcast onto it) by talkgroup 1401.

Very interesting. Think I'll have to start running UT on this system fairly continually now. Not too long ago the CCs were dead.

It's been idle all day as well except for BSI announcements on 859.8625. Still can't hear anything actually on that channel, but maybe I'm out of range - I'm near Finch x 400.

I'm going to post this in a few threads, so apologies in advance if you feel this is spam, but if you want the logs I have made in Unitrunker, PRO96COM, and/or HomePatrol for this system while I was here on vacation over the past couple weeks, let me know by replying here or PM.

Last year when someone reported the CC had returned, Andy and I were able to "fox hunt" it to the transmitter at Jane and Eglinton. I'd assume this is their test site, given its location to REU and such.

What is the active CC?

I didn't even look as I was driving through on the 401, I have all the freq's listed on RR in the radio but I didn't look to see which CC was active. Came up on both my mobile radio and portable and they were going at it for quite a while.
