It took more than a snorkel to put this fire out. They had master streams and long lead outs....and don't forget..WATER !
Heard them say something about the fire boat. Was this close to the river?
Engine 58 (Fireboat) did respond. It's close to the river, but I don't think (know for sure?) they would put them to work, as it's not close enough. Maybe for a drafting operation if it was needed?
