I've come across a new one heard from my listening post in SW Colorado. DMR, 159.180, CC4, TG2200. Possibly a school district PD but not quite sure. Another hunch is that this agency/district is in New Mexico or Arizona (I'll post in those forums.) I do not find it in the RRDB or FCC ULS.

So if you're anywhere near the Four Corners dial it up and help ID this one.

Would it be on abajo in utah , which covers well into Colorado or on another mountaintop that covers the 4 corners better? Are there other mountaintops that could cover that area?

I do receive VHF from Abajo (UHP, San Juan County). However, I do not see a listing for this freq in San Juan County, UT.

Is it a trunked system or just a conventional dmr freq? CAP + or anything, Arizona has a freq in apache County but its emissions don't show dmr and looks like an output freq. How strong is the signal from where your at?

Display indicates DMR. I believe it to be part of a trunked system. I hear the control channel kind of noise intermittently with no voice.

I cannot hear any other radio system from Chinle (licensed on the 159.180 freq) so I doubt that's who I am hearing. The signal is very strong at my location (SW CO).

I would seriously consider getting a $30 RTL SDR dongle and DSD+ Fastlane, it's extremely useful for identifying unknown systems/frequencies.

I got DSD+ Fast Lane up and running. Took a few hours to figure it out (again) but I got it working. Haven't heard traffic yet from my unknown user. I'm not sure what new info I can get from DSD+ on this one but we shall see.

I can receive/decode the 159.180 DMR signal on my SDS200 but I cannot on DSD+. I'm going to keep working on it although I believe this is a school district operation so there will not be much, if any, traffic on the weekend.

I think I have narrowed the users down to either San Juan County, UT or Apache County, AZ. Hearing several transmissions referring to Highway 191 (which should be US191.)

.......the things I waste my time on

I think I've found it. Chinle (AZ) Unified School District. I can receive it on the SDS200 but I am not able to get a decode using DSD+ Fast Lane (I've tried for hours.) I'm surprised I am able to hear this but stranger things have happened.

159.180/input unknown (too far to hear) DMR CC4 TG 2200= Security, TG 4100= Maintenance

Discovered after I reviewed recordings from all day and heard mentions of specific schools. I've spent way too many brain cells on this one. Back to my/your regular scheduled monitoring.

That makes absolutely no sense, I would say it's 100% guaranteed you have fastlane or your dongle setup incorrectly. Are you using FMP24 with a direct link to the Dongle?
