Anyone know if THOSE GUYS FIRE COMPANY 461.250 in Clark is active?

PL DPL? FCC database has them as a Buff Group.

Patch Heard

I heard a patch here with tones and voice activity from fire dispatcher from either Hillside or Union yesterday. All hands working on RT78 rollover.Any ideas? Low profile signal.

The only activity I hear on this frequency is a taxi/transport company located in NYC, (primarily Brooklyn locations are mentioned). The only FD activity I hear in Clark is on the frequencies listed in the RR database under Clark FD.

Again /ZGE more than one company can be on the frequency, just because YOU can't hear it, doesn't mean it's not there or they are transmitting on the frequency illegal. The taxi companies are notorious for using excessive power that's why it's the only thing you hear. I know someone from Those Guys Fire Company I will ask them what their PL is.

Again Jaymatt, I never SAID that "Those Guys Fire Company" doesn't USE this frequency. All I'm saying is that I personally never heard them ON THIS FREQUENCY. I have been monitoring it for that last few days. Also, even though I don't have a scanner with PL capability, I am still hearing EVERYTHING possible on that given frequency in my listening range. So, if they are using this frequency, then it's very very rare. Please, if your only intention is to ridicule me and make an idiot of yourself on this board, then don't bother posting at all!

I hear nothing but a patch from a fire department,may be Cranford or Hillside?

It is unclear which FD it is. The system does not have much ERP or elevation.

I only come to the NJ in response to complaints from other users (which is why I am a moderator). Apparently your fan base is not quite as wide as you claim since every recent reason I have had to come to the NJ forum is based on a complaint about you. I have tried to be civil to you in the past despite your ravings in previous threads. Your threat to sign up with multiple ID's (quoted above) is in direct violation to the user agreement you already agreed to and in of itself a basis for banning you entirely.

In this particular instance, I will repeat what I already said, your comment did nothing to aid the OP's request for information. Indeed it is just another example of how you attempt to hijack a thread for your own (and unknown) reasons. This comment (above quoted) just proves my point that you have no concept of how to accept the fact that your posts are disruptive at the least and unwanted.

Based on the publicly available comments directed to you and about you in the NJ forum alone, I seriously doubt that your removal would sadden anyone. Consider this your final warning.

Lou, for this particular thread the focus is between messages #3 and #4. I know both of the parties who have each checked into and contributed to the NYDXA net for several years now. I am quite perplexed how a simple statement in #3 deserves the response in #4 and the spiraling upwards of hostile statements. Do you want me to be the local off-thread "moderator" since I know both of them? Something else seems to be at the root of all this, I am sure. Tihs is totally unlike both of them to be involved in something like this.

I agree with you, something is afoot here that has nothing to do with what is in this thread, indeed probably nothing to do with what is happening here at the site at all; however, I am only concerned with the site and what happens here. As such I appreciate the offer but I am not sure that there is anything anyone could do to solve the root problem. So, I will deal with the problem here on the site by not allowing whatever the problem is to spill over here.

And with apologies to r60 (the OP), I am closing this thread as it is apparent you will not get any useful information here. Perhaps you could re-post your query and the current combatants will stay off of the new thread.
