Ok a new one for me. At my employer, security channel is 464.875. On my way to work about 6:30 am. I caught a blurb of C.W. I'd. Sorry my code is bad. But the signal was scratching at best. Never have heard it before. This is in Oxnard and Camarillo area. Ventura County. I will continue to listen. Open for any response.

If you're trying to ID a repeater by morse code, it helps to at least memorize morse numbers. If you can catch the last 2 or 3 digits, 9 times out of 10 you'll have a successful ID if you research it in the FCC ULS, though with your signal being scratchy it may not be possible

Typo
464.875 mhz.
Old fingers I guess.

And you mean "MHz" not "mhz". Yes, it makes a difference. For one think, the "H" should be capital. And even then "464.875 mHz" is 0.464875 Hz (if you do not capitalize the "m". (But, a surprise to many, kilohertz is "kHz" not "KHz". I do not make these rules but they are international, often ignored) standards. Not trying to be picky - just thought you may want to fix it in future posts since you cared enough to fix your earlier post by adding the units.
