Is your town not in the database? Why would you have to know this?
Just turn on location scanning and enter your zip code or town info.
What town is it?
Perhaps they encrypt those talkgroups.....thats why you dont hear it.

I was reading the DSD part,if DSD doesnt decode it perhaps you need an outdoor antenna how far away are you from town?

I have reset all frequencies from the scanner, set my county location, only selected law categories. When I browse the scan lists, I see the same frequencies for police and sheriff, analog & digital. It stops on the analog channel, I hear digital code, no voice. If I lock-out the analog channel, the digital channel never picks up. I spoke to a neighbor deputy and he said they are not encrypted.
If you look at the RR database, you will see the frequencies: Mississippi, Neshoba

Ok, have you installed the latest update for your scanner and ezscan they came out 3/17/2017?

If so what kind of signal strength are you getting with that antenna?....to much is as bad as not enough and the symptoms are the same. This is where you would use attenuation (The ATT button) either globally(GA) that is applied to ALL frequencies or you could use the software and apply to just the freq your having problems with.

Other things that could be causing missed conversations is to many freq in a playlist and/or too many playlist. This will cause the scanner to take longer to loop back....longer means you can and will miss parts of conversations.

Hello,

I imported from the database for your county and the entries look okay. I would lock out the analog channels that are now digital like in the picture.

I finally got the Philly PD New to work. It is DMR. I reset all libraries on the SD card, imported only Law Talk, changed it from FMN to DMR and it is working. I'm still working on the Neshoba SO.
Thank you for all your help so far.

I'm kind of a new-bee her, Eric is showing you the master downloads, These are all assigned different scan lists numbers when downloaded. You will need to assign them to your consolidated scan list. From here you check the boxes for those channel settings you wish to monitor. On the far right collum of each frequency needs to show which channel you want it assigned to lessen when scanning. See my example of my V-scan list sent to my scanner sd-card.

I assigned (Logan FG to be monitored on my scan list 1. see the 1,157). the 157 was given when downloaded. you don't need to bounce all over this many list to only monitor the ones you desire and to the list you grogram. Just left click that last column and then assigned it to where is will be grouped.

Note: if I want to lesson to Ilinois fire Marshal I will activate my scan list 4.

Hope this helps.
