536 Function dial light

I just tried this again, to make sure I wasn't leading anybody on.

Using Sentinel. Click through the following
1. USA
2. Michigan
3. Statewide Systems
4. Michigan's Public Safety Communications System
5. Right click first county
6. Select Append to Favorites List
7. Click New Favorites list

Under the county name I just appended, everything is there for every county in the state and all TGs.

County with all of their TGs are listed first in Alpha order, then sites in Alpha order.

Then I would rename it to MPSCS Statewide and start trimming data freqs by hand from the sites.

I hope it works out this easy for you. I don't think I expected it to work this way, so when I went into the FL for the county I just added I saw everything was in there.

My state worked ok when I tried to copy the statewide system, that copied all the counties. Its when I wanted to select all the counties to get the conventional and other systems I couldnt do it.

I spent about an hour and a half this afternoon, and went to each county in the state, and copied all entries listed under that county to the same favorites list, then went back up to the top and did the same for each county. Rather more tedious than just highlighting the state and selecting append.

In any case, I have it all finished now, and uploaded to the portable. Tested it with the zip code entry function, and it switches from area to area correctly...so...it worked. Just more work than I would expect from programming software.

Good deal, it will be worth it to have optimized FLs.

Arc536 may help with this using the RR import (requires RR premium membership). I haven't tried it lately because it wasn't supporting rectangles in Location Control (rectangles may be supported now, I just don't know). Then I discovered some security issues with it, those are not resolved yet so I haven't done much with it other than the virtual console.

Ok I found the alert light in sentinel but for the life of me can't figure out how to toggle it on and off!

One can copy and then paste multiples via control-C and control-V. Multiple select via the shift and control is also nice and fast.

Thanks, but my problem was that I was trying to toggle it in the main database not realizing it can only be toggled in a favorites list
