I know that the common "Marine channels" are CSQ and wide band, but I need to know if Coast Guard frequencies in the Thirteenth Coast Guard District (Pacific Northwest) use CTCSS tones on the CG freq's, and if so, what they are. Am I correct in assuming that they are all narrow band.

Also anybody out there have freqs for Oregon coast area tugs or other vessels. I am especially interested in anything in the Coos Bay area, but I get up and down the coast from northern California to Vancouver, B.C., so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mean the LMR Channels listed in the Wiki or the VHF Marine CG Only channels.?

As to the VHF Marine CG - No. All CSQ

As to the LMR Channels, might be.

The Older Radios were Analog with Encryption [DVP/DES] and some of the channels did use
CTCSS, but not many.

The New Radios [XTS Series] have Zones for Analog [No Tones and FM], Digital and Digital Encrypted [Narrow]

I know that the VHF marine channels are CSQ, but don't know about the LMR freq's. Are you aware of any web sites I can explore to find out more info on this? Although my inquiry is focused on the 13th Coast Guard District, any data from other areas could perhaps be informative also. Thanks.

Peruse the database here at RR.

Here's marine/aviation licensees in Coos Co.:

You can do a similar search for any county.
