800 Was Hopping

Nice 800 MHz ducting this morning!

Logged 10 SC Palmetto 800 sites from Hickory, NC.

Centered around Darlington area. About a 150 mile hop. #'s: 2, 3, 30, 31, 45, 53, 54, 56, 57, 60.

Snagged 2 NCSHP sites. Chatham Mtn. #4 and Lumberton #24.

Was running the control channel data software and got some good info on VIPER site numbers.

Will post what I found when I verify a thing or two.

Wish the NC system had been coming in like the SC!

The reason I am holding back is this talk of zone site reconfiguration by the techs.

Heard yet another such conversation.

Hate to have to play musical site numbers.

Maybe they'll go about in the next week or so.
