Early this morning 0705z (3:05am ET) I caught an interesting automated broadcast in progress. It sounded like a Missing Vessel Report. It said the vessel was supposed to arrive on May 11 in Australia and that it was a female 55. Then an unusual string of numbers like: 6 billion 235 million.... This is a known marine freq YachtCom - Marine SSB radio | MF frequencies | HF frequencies | SSB Channels | Coastguards frequencies and HF SSB Radiotelephone, Telex and Email Frequencies and Channels This is a first time catch for me, Rx was weak with some fading in/out. Callsigns were mentioned, I'll have to listen to my digicorder again especially for that string of numbers.

Anyone else catch similar broadcasts ? Was it an alert for a missing vessel ?

Thanks

EDIT: The callsigns announced are as they appear in the second link; WLO and KLB followed by "now standing by for calls".
The string of numbers was "...plus 61 billion 262 million 306 thousand 811.

I heard something like that in December last year one time in the same band, it was an automated female voice with a British accent saying something along that line-but then was followed by a maritime weather report. I was under the impression they were announcing a missing person rather than a vessel though.
