900 Mhz Public Safety Frequencies

I just happened to be scanning in the mid 900's today and heard what sounds like Bellevue police and fire.

Are they migrating over to 900 Mhz from the 800?

I suspect an image problem. I receive 800 images in the high 700's. I think public safety cannot get into the 900 band. It is more for business, PUDs (utilities) and pagers.

Yea I've never heard of public saftey in the 900's.

Here's what I've found so far:

956.3875, 956.3125 hear PD mostly, Bellevue FD once
958.0375, 958.2750 both sound like control channels

900 MHz in Seattle

I have found Seattle police on 900 MHz. So far 946.3875, 946.6625, 947.9125, and 947.1375

You guys are hearing images from the front end of your scanners being overloaded. 940-960mhz is all point-to-point microwave links, and 935-940 is business trunking or conventional.

It's an image. I was sure that I was hearing something new on the 700mhz range .And it was just the Seattle TRS
