BCD325P2/BCD996P2: 996P2 not receiving Phase 2????

Thanks, I was considering swapping on a TRAM 800 NMO and seeing if that works.
A dedicated 800 MHz antenna on the firehouse will most likely have even more gain and increase simulcast distortion problems. Please let me know if you swap scanners in the vehicle that is presently receiving OK where it is parked. If it is working, it is very important not to move the vehicle.

I don't know if the P25 Threshold settings get carried over when programmed from a file. They were hidden settings at one point but I vaguely recall them being made always visible during a firmware update a while back.
They are under the settings menu.

The only other thing was some hardware changes during 2020/2021 for many of the Uniden scanners. I can't find FCC documents for the 996P2 but the 325P2 is this:

I have no idea if this kind of component swap would make the kind of differences you are experiencing.

The later BCD996P2 and BCD536HP scanners had hardware changes which prevented the scanners from decoding digital signals above 171.2 MHz in the VHF high band. A firmware update corrected that problem.
