*cue the biggest facepalm on the entire earth...*

That was it! Somehow the squelch got turned up in my truck. I never even considered that being the other systems worked flawlessly. Plus I thought the knob was software based (nope!). Thank you so much for your suggestion, I can't thank you enough! And everyone else, thank you as well and take note of this for future reference :)

I was perplexed when I encountered my situation. The control channel kept bouncing around w/o any voice or ID scan activity. Like you, I did two hard resets and couldn't figure out why the damn thing still wouldn't work. Luckily, it clicked in my head (after reading something here) that simulcast P25 systems tend to work better with the squelch turned down as low as possible. Sure enough, that did the trick! Who would have thought the squelch knob operates when the scanner is turned off? At any rate, you're quite welcome for the assistance! Glad it all worked out.

I thought about that, but didn't want to insult the OP.:D

(I'm not saying you did either) GREAT WORK!!!!!!

It's my personal belief that there are no dumb questions in our hobby (especially when it comes to these complex DMA scanners). Glad we all have this great community to bounce ideas and questions off one another.

Better to be a little embarrassed now, then much more embarrassed later ;) I'm just glad my scanner works and my feed is back up and running at full capacity!
