About radio theft, if they're using ADP it ain't happening with OTAR. I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen with ADP.

I read another post on this website a week or so ago that back in the 1980s this same thing with radio theft happened in Miami I think it was.

Anyone know what kind of E Chicago is using? Would they actually pay for AES?

I can confirm after using DSD+ that all the Dispatch Zones are using AES-256.

I did have a thought on this. The system Admin. can just disable the radio... I mean, prevent the RID from hearing anything...

I think the APXs come with single-key AES256. So it shouldn't cost extra.
