Happens to me every year generally around the holidays. Miss Radio Shack, Lafayette Radio stores. I usually end up buying an older radio and restoring it. This year it was the one attached.

I had 1 of those DX-160's not sure if it still lives in a box in the shed or not. My wife thinks some of my old treasures are junk and drags them to the curb.

Mine did that once with $1000 worhth of restored radios when I was in the hospital once. Told her if that ever happened again, I'd be going to prison.

I've heard of stuff like that to happening and could never comprehend how one person in a marriage thinks they unilaterally have the right to give or throw away someone else's things. To me that is the first sign someone could have a narcissistic personality disorder.

My station in when I was in High School...this is like 79/80 the grey small box above the cassette recorder on shelf is a KRS digital frequency readout for the DX-160...was really cool at the time and helped alot! of course how can you not notice the black rotary phone ...and the straight key ...just got my General in 80 ..luv all the adverts everyone has posted so cool! oh and the Bearcat 20/20 (if I remember correctly?) 73,s Marcy
