Haven't a clue :roll::roll:.
While you (and others) are concentrating on a 3 inch white container on a belt to ID a cop, the rest of the world can ID a cop simply by the uniform and gear he carries. If "stealthy mode" is the objective, it is small enough to put in a pocket. This is not the bulls-eye that some of you think it is. :lol::lol::lol:
I personally don't like the accusation about "me" and others concentrating on a 3 inch white container on a belt.
MY belt has nothing on it that makes noise or reflects light.
MY handcuffs (excuse me-mechanical restraints), which are unpolished nickel are inside a completely closed case for this reason.
MY radio has a listen only surveillance earpice attached to the speaker mic. While I'm not a cop, I am a member of the Boston Police Union, and I am well aware that there are times when it's better to observe than to act, and that stealthiness is one of the best ways to observe. There are times when everything goes to crap fast, and you don't have time to take it off your belt-it's on a ring that has to be threaded from the looks of the pic, not a clip. Yes, you can identify a cop by their uniform, that's what it's made for, but remember, there are times when they don't want to be identified, as it could cost them their life.
