Someone has put a lot of effort into the Wiki. Can I make a suggestion? Can the freqs be entered the same way that they are shown in the Radio Reference database - with 2 headings - "Frequency" and "Input". I am concerned that the use of "Rx" and "Tx" can lead to confusion. I think I have seen that confusion pop up in NIFC documents at times. Sometimes a repeater input will get listed as a repeater output.

Alternately - maybe it can be specified that 'Tx' = 'mobile Tx' - and that - 'Rx' = 'mobile Rx'

The usage receive and transmit just as the database shows is pretty standard with all the agencies I'm familiar with. The terms are for the field radios and not for the repeaters. It seems pretty simple for me to understand unless I've missed something here.

98% of the Federal Documents, including the 205's are designed for the portable and mobile Radios.

Rarely will we see a 205 written based on the actual programming of a Repeater. Even the NIFOG and the state FOG's are written for the mobile/portable environment.

That is an example of what I am talking about - the input and output have been flipped 'apparently'

TX and RX can be confused and flipped - "input" cannot be flipped (if you understand how a repeater works)

I have not tried to edit the Wiki myself - maybe I will try to do that - I will just add a line on the index page stating that TX and RX refers to the field radios (mobiles, portables, FX1) - (MO3 oy another issue)
