Ac Adapter for GRE-600

I am needing a AC Adapter for a GRE PSR-600 scanner, does anyone know where I can get one?

Radio shack ( If you can find one in your area ) or walmart, almost any hardware or store with electronics. It needs to be a 12vdc ,700- 1000 ma and the tip needs to be positive polarity (+) :wink: 73, n9zas

You will not likely find it at Walmart. The tip is similar to Sony laptops. Whistler does have it for around $18 plus shipping. It is the same as the 1065

I did at my Walmart, so I bought a spare to have in another room so I wouldn't have to unplug the Oem wall wart. :wink: 73, n9zas

I'd be pretty certain Whistler would confirm that for you. They would know.

It's easy enough to check, easy enough to reverse if necessary.

The radio uses standard EIAJ-05 power plugs found on many Panasonic , Sony and Kenwood adapters for the 13.5v to 18.0v range , often adapters at Goodwill or other second hand stores.

Radio Shack adaptaplug "T" or Philmore TC265 fits. 6.5mm OD x 4.4mm ID x 1.4mm pin
