Are the 911 ambulances for the county area still dispatched using the system below? I know they have an admin/ops channel on the AARRS for on-scene, en route to X hospital, etc... and they work on all the BCFA FD/EMS channels. But I haven't heard any dispatches on the DMR system. It might be a radio issue on my end. I just thought I would check.

As of Jan. 1 this year, Acadian no longer has the 911 contract for unincorporated Bexar County. They are still in the area. To my knowledge they still cover Balcones Heights and Castle Hills.

Allegiance is now providing 911 transport in the county in the districts where the fire departments are not providing their own EMS transport.

That makes sense. I did hear the BCFA dispatcher tell Windcrest rescue yesterday that Allegiance was already on scene of a cardiac arrest they were heading to. I was wondering what Allegiance was. First time in awhile I've monitored BCFA channels.

Any idea what they are dispatching calls on? I'm assuming they have the same access to the BCFA fleet of channels to talk with first responders.
