Hello all, so i decided to mess around with pdw software and within an hour was decoding pocsag. Now I try to do the acars and nothing. I read a couple posts and tried different things and still nothing. I can hear multiple beeps on freq. Im using a pro97 into a usb audio. the only difference from the pocsag is im not using the tap. Any help would be great. Also could not get acarsd working just got the main screen for set up. Thanks

I've used a Pro-97 to decode acars and the trick is to have the squelch turned off and the volume set just right.
PDW is not the best app for ACARS. The app has not been updated in quite a while and there are no plans to upgrade the software any longer.. AcarsD is much better. Play around with sound card setting in the set up. I had a few problems a while back getting it to run. Also, do not over do it with the volume into the sound card line in. If your output is too high the decoder will not decode.
Can someone help me run AcarsD in xp. I am confused of how to get the program to run.
