Currently running the current version of ProScan. Suddenly it is showing recordings, but when playing back nothing happens. When I go to the local folder and try to play the mp3's , get and invalid file format with the media player. I am running the latest Windows 11 Version 23H2. I did replace my router but don't see any problems with it. The top screen is refreshing properly and the recording screen is updating with each transmission. The Audio Control screen is showing the correct ip assignment, which has not changed. I am not sure exactly when the problem started, but it was after the new router was installed. The direct output of the scanned does have audio. I have restarted the router, computer, and scanner. When I tell Proscan to reconnect it does without a problem and shows traffic on both the TCP and UDP. I am using and ASUS AXE16000 for my main router which has both the computer and S200 connected to it. The S200 is going through a switch along with a lot of other stuff which is working as expected. I am open to any ideas.

I have found the problem. It is a bad network cable. I really don't understand why it was not causing other major network problems. I have switch the bad cable out and back in twice and it shows the same both times. I am guessing that it has something to do with UDP vs TCP.

I was going to suggest the network cable. The Packet Loss in the URL Audio Setup dialog would have picked up a network problem.
I don't think it has anything to do with UDP vs TCP. The serial protocol data uses UDP only. My guess is the audio is continuously streaming and more bytes so more likely the intermittent will show up.

I ended up doing the network cable as a last resort. :) From my experience when they go bad you normally see more symptoms. I probably would have tried the cable earlier, except I had just installed a new router. I do have a large network for a home network. I have a 3 router mesh network with normally over 50 active devices. That is not counting the router and other equipment for a AREDN network.
