Hi,

Today I tried to open EZ-SCAN for the first time in a while and it quits with this error message every time:

"Error: Access violation at 0x7488743D (tried to write to 0x01000FE8), program terminated."

I have not run the program in a long time, and the last time I ran it, it worked properly. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thank you!

UPDATE: I also tried opening WS1080 EZ-SCAN and I get the similar "Error: Access violation at 0x7488743D (tried to write to 0x00E80FE8), program terminated)"

backup/archive, then Uninstall ezscan, then go to my documents and uninstall all the trx stuff, reboot then reinstall ezscan

It was apparently caused by me turning on "Force randomization for images (Mandatory ASLR)" in Windows Defender's exploit protection settings (Windows 10). Unlike the other exploit protection options, the default is Off.

I don't know anything about "Mandatory ASLR" other than that I turned it on because all the other exploit protection settings were on by default and I had no problems with other programs.

Thank you!
