Well if they’ve got a license and frequencies assigned to them, plus a slew of info on the ESVA 911 website about it, it’s definitely happeningthe question is, it on the air or just a proposal?
Glad to see this- it is much needed- I hope Hampton moves to phase 2 and 700 alsoA 700 system has been licensed/granted, any incite to buildout?

Why would Hampton need 700? They have a perfectly fine system. Hamptons already Phase 2 capableGlad to see this- it is much needed- I hope Hampton moves to phase 2 and 700 also
I did not realize they are capable of phase 2- ok- fair enoughWhy would Hampton need 700? They have a perfectly fine system. Hamptons already Phase 2 capable

Thanks. I have staged the system in the database pending activation. Looks like there are 7 base frequencies licensed at this time, but the license shows the type/modulation as P25 Phase 1 C4FM only with sites across Accomack and Northampton Counties, plus Chincoteague. I'm assuming it will be a simulcast system at this point. Here are the frequencies to monitor for activity:A 700 system has been licensed/granted, any incite to buildout?

Lots of info inside the second link I posted. They just got the FCC license at the end of MayMy interpretation of the question was whether the OP can program in the frequencies and expect to pick up at least a control channel today, or is that something that will happen in the future?
Yes, correct. I got a lot of info from that. Thank you! We just need scanners on the ground in the peninsula there to listen for activity on the frequencies.Lots of info inside the second link I posted. They just got the FCC license at the end of May
I doubt it, probably be beginning of next year or laterAny activity yet on those 700Mhz frequencies listed above?
I was told all new systems will have AES for free offeredall law enforcement going to be using aes-256
Yes, my understanding is that all law enforcement talk groups will have AES256 encryption. However, have not seen that in writing anywhere.all law enforcement going to be using aes-256
If you look at post 3 in this thread, and go the ESVA 911 website, they had a document on their that said AES was going to be on all LE channelsYes, my understanding is that all law enforcement talk groups will have AES256 encryption. However, have not seen that in writing anywhere.
