Active house fire in Webberville

All Ingham Co. Fire departments and East Eaton county (ER, ERT, Hamlin) Fire Department tankers enroute to an active structure fire southwest of Webberville (Howell Rd)

Also requested Livingston Co.


Activity on Ingham Co. TRS on Tac 1 (578/04-082) and Tanker (581/04-085)

unknown what the structure is.

Well sorry for the wrong information, I was sitting at my fire station getting ready to go to the call when I was typing this message.
It was "OUT"county units, and all three tankers from the Eaton Rapids area.

The story was on line this morning on the LSJ web site. The structure was 143 years old and formally called the Vantown Store which was closed early in "07. It has has had a couple additions added to it over the years and I believe still occupied. It was located at Howell and Deitz road in Leroy Twp. At approx 1300 hrs to-day their was a Channel 6 or 10 crew on scene. +40 yrs ago I had relatives live near-by and have had my share of ice cream cones from the store. My Dept responded with a tanker and a Ladder. (Stockbridge)
