Adams Co Sheriff has been testing P25 digital. It will be the last to go digital in Quincy, IL. Quincy PD, Quincy Fire dept and Adams Co EMS all has gone digital. They are all on 1 Channel P25 freqs and its the same freqs they were on when analog.

No idea what they are. I don't keep encrypted or expired freqs in my scanner. When I had the freqs in my scanners I don't think they even showed. That's the problem with RR I have had people wanting me to program their new scanner and was wanting stuff that was no longer or encrypted because they saw it in RR database.

Ridiculous excuse. It's still going to be in the database. People are still going to find it in the FCC licenses. People are still going to want to know what it is. It's a simple request.

I have had to manually hold on a freq via Direct Entry in order to see the NAC on ENC P25 freqs. Pretty annoying that it doesn't show you while scanning.

Say if I'm getting DX or interference I can search the database and tell what agency it's coming from. Without the NAC I'm left guessing what I'm receiving.

There isn’t a talk group for the jail. And you won’t be able to listen. The jail is encrypted.

If you put in a P25 freq in as a One Frequency Trunk you can see a TG in use. I know people used to do that in the old P25 Chicago Fire/EMS system.

My buddy and Myself have put in the jail freqs in our SDS200 and I have proscan running to log and neither of us have had a hit. Now I will try to put it on hold freq and see what I get. If this shows nothing don't know what to tell you. Oh and by the way I do have it has One Frequency Trunk.

As for AMR Abbott EMS (Quincy) unknown future ops. 151.67 R/159.66 input (NFM) I work at the hospital and have seen them in the ED and I have them in a couple scanners and have never heard any activity. No hits on this and I have Proscan logging and recording while I'm at work.

Update on Jail Freqs- I have nothing there has been no signal or anything on the meter. I suspect they turned the repeater off because they are working up there because of mold. They built a new jail next to the old jail and court house and they been working on the old part. So I think they must shut it off or disconnected it till they get finished. Maybe they are using simplex for now.
