adjustable through hole nmo mount?

I was wondering if there are any comercially available through hole nmo mounts that do not need to be on a level surface to have the antenna straight. I have a nice comet csb-750a 2m/440 antenna, currently on a crappy (but not cheap) lip mount (diamond k600s) on the hood of my truck. I want to switch to a through-hole nmo mount also on the side of the hood, but then the antenna would be crooked as the hood has a slight pitch. The lip mount is leftover from my last vehicle, where it was on a fiberglass trunk. In my opinion no antenna mount is sleeker than a drilled nmo mount (and great ground plane in the middle of a metal roof or hood!). I cannot mount this antenna on my roof for a few reasons, too expensive of an antenna to break off on a tree branch, and proximity to other antennas on the vehicle. So what should i do?, I am more than willing to drill holes, which should un-complicate matters.....

Have you considered a NMO fender-mount (sometimes called a "L" bracket)??

These can be mounted (screwed) to the vertical edge of a hood or a trunk, and can be bent - within reason - to accommodate angled sheetmetal. Once installed, the screws are not seen.

thanks, I have used that type of bracket elsewhere on the vehicle, In this case, the angle is <5 degrees from being flat, a small antenna would look fine but a 30" antenna I have is too crooked flush mounted. thanks

You can always do what I did, buy an Excursion so you have more real estate. In my case, 12 antennas coexist nicely. (forget about a sunroof)

I'm not aware of any "tilted" NMO mounts, but they may be around. Another alternative is to give the antenna's lower 'mast' a "<5" degree tilt in the 'other' direction.

Antenna Specialists used to make their K-72 mount, which was an NMO on an adjustable base that could be mounted on an angled surface up to 45 degrees off horizontal, sort of like a fender mounted car AM/FM antenna. I don't think these are available anymore.

I did recently see a similar design by another company, but I can't remember the manufacturer or what web site I saw it on.
