Ok, I'm pretty sure they aren't still active (and especially not in the clear) but I guess you know better.

Pretty funny as I bought some of the disposed radios when the 400 MHz Nationwide system was scrapped and all the antennas were removed from the ground side. And I live within range of one of the former main sites and can guarantee it has been dead for years. Besides that, 407.85 and 415.7 were FM not AM. Please do not post outdated and wrong info and claim it is current.

The depricated 400 UHF pair were FM as well as the Y/Z VHF p/p pair were FM.

415.700/407.85mhz I used to hear Air Force 1 on these 2 freqs years ago back in the mid 90's anyone know if they are still active? I didn't hear anything on them when Bush visted Brag the other day---

@KevinC a few things I noticed, the title says AF2, but the track was today's AF1. Also, if he is in central NJ how is he hearing comms from south of New Castle? And, AF2 was in Connecticut today, not Delaware. Add to that the fact we all know those freqs are dead and I say I'm wasting my time on this thread. I'm unfollowing!

Maybe it's a disinformation campaign...you know, because of who he works for. Those Blackwater people are sometimes pests.
