After making the following post, I thought it better to start another thread
http://forums.radioreference.com/ai.../337667-what-does-lingo-mean.html#post2619455
As you can tell from the other thread I have no clue about anything aircraft communication, anybody have a book recommendation that has a good overview of aircraft navigation? I also enjoy Gander on HF, but again only understand half of what they say
Our local airport mention in the other thread has a very nice viewing pavilion with the tower coms piped in. The best kept secret in town is a new viewing area at international KMSP darn near in the smack dab middle off the field. Its my new quest to get the basic operation figured out.
One would think being radio active for 30+ years I would know more, so much to learn, not enough time.
Thanks for the input,
J
