So if I run my Airspy at 2.5 I get terrible reception.
Doing some troubleshooting on my system and dumbed it down to try to figure out what's up.

It's just turned to a local radio station for testing.
at 2.5mhz spread, station is scratchy and sounds terrible. Also looks terrible on the waterfall.
Then just switch to 10mhz spread NOTHING else changes, and reception is perfect, and waterfall looks great.

Do I have a bad Airspy?

I have 2 airspys I have never turned them down to 2.5 so I am guessing. Fm wide is exactly that wide so maybe 2.5 isn't enough. I will try doing the same thing tomorrow and see what happens.

Increase the Gain. You have it set to 0. You don't need Spyverter for FM.
Use 10 MHz for Airspy R2.. Use Zoom in on desired station, if you want a closer view.

He is already using WFM.

Which Airspy are you using, the R2?

I've had days like that; usually when I stay up too late.:)

Another way to get a closer look at a signal is to use Decimation instead of Zoom:

Something I noticed....your bandwidth is too wide on the signal. Tighten it up, so the lower and upper edges are about 1/5 - 1/4 the way up the slope. That will clean up the signal audio
