Hi all,

I have put ATCO Gas and Fortis Alberta frequencies in the DB recently. I can't confirm solidly from here which frequencies are being used on which pairs. I know several pairs are definitely in use, and I have CTCSS codes for my own area, but I'd like it if people from other areas are able to have a listen. I can't even tell on some pairs which one is repeater out, and which is repeater in.

I know that in the Calgary area, ATCO uses tone 156.7, and Fortis is CSQ. If folks can take a listen in their areas, and do some submissions to update the info with. Obviously, if descriptions can be provided for each channel, it'd be helpful too.

Thanks :)

Hi Jay. Once I get some semblance of an antenna on my scanner, I'll see what I can hear.
I'm in the deep south of Calgary.

BTW, great job on maintaining the Alberta database, very helpful info there.

Hey Jay,
I am heading out to my parents' house for a few days and will program these in and see what I can hear while in Leduc. I am not going to have much else to do... besides steal time on the PS3 (I still can't believe we were lucky enough to find one of those).

Hey Jay,
Nothing here in Edmonton or Leduc yet. I don't know if it's just because of the Cmas break or what. I even took out the tones to make sure I was getting anything on these freqs and am picking up nothing but pager intermod.

ATCO Gas around Edmonton mainly use an 800 Mhz LTR system or fixed 800 Mhz frequencies.
Althought most units do have VHF/UHF capabilities.
ATCO Electric use VHF or MIKE
