2012 fire season is almost comming to an end, but have you wondered why the radio is so quite?
... Well its because they have changed frequencies, I will be compiling a list of all of the frequencies as they have been published in the 2012 Pilots handbook for Alta SRD operations. Ive just reprogrammed all of them and WOW the scanner came back to life . Its great again to be able to monitor and know where the fires are, listen to the daily weather reports for the areas (as they are alot more accurate).

Have you thought about putting a feed online so people outside of the area could listen in?

Thanks for posting bidulock. The suspense was killing me. From this I can see what I plotted out on a previous post was correct for Firenet channels 201 to 248 using the three different PL Tones. This info will round out the SRD stuff right up to date. The Google maps document prepared by Jay will now be able to be completed province wide.

Map has been updated. I think there have been a small handful of sites installed since the pilot's handbook was released in April as they are not listed, but are in TAFL data.

I'll work eventually at getting the RRDB updates submitted.

I think you will find Bruderheim was moved to Hairy Hill. Thorhild was new to me.
